Meat & Doria Μ400 – AD BLUE®

Print page

Use:

The M400 AdBlue® is a urea-based liquid which is used in the selective catalysis of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from exhaust gases of DIESEL vehicles.

Instructions:

The M400 AdBlue ® is used in vehicles equipped with an SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction). These vehicles have special separate containers for transferring AdBlue® which is introduced into the catalyst system of the vehicle in proportion 0.1% to 5% of the fuel consumed (the ratio depends on the type and the engine of the vehicle). The small proportion ensures a longer life and allows the system to occupy less space in the vehicle.

– The solution is non-toxic, non-flammable and is not dangerous in handling.

– Such a solution can be called AdBlue® if it contains a certain concentration of artificial urea and under strict quality parameters governing mineral content, calcium, biuret and other elements that can cause damage to components of the catalyst.

– The European Parliament voted in 2008 the new Euro VI standard for cars and trucks. The new emission limits will come into effect in 2014 and will include the reduction of emissions of NOx by 80% and reduction of emission limits for particulate emissions by 66% compared to Euro V.

– The M400 is available in containers of 10 liters.
